I wanted to do the CMRTT as I had already completed the 8-week MBSR and wanted to learn more about facilitating a shorter programme with more emphasis on self-compassion. I felt that a shorter, yet helpful programme would be more feasible for engaging people to participate.
My initial aim was to facilitate the course for people with persistent pain. Following the course I facilitated the 4-week CMR for some colleagues I work with within a Pain Management Service as this course is very suited for Health Care Professionals and those who care for others
